A Little Help?

Good Evening WordPress, Facebook,  Twitter, Google+, and Linkedin Friends,

Chances are, if you are reading this, you have visited and/or read posts on my blog. First off, I want to thank you for that. Second, I have a favor to ask of you that may take just a few minutes of your time. The purpose of such is just to gain some feedback concerning my blog posts and my writing.

If you have the time, in a few words, could you please address the three following questions:

A) What words would you use to describe my posts, whether they be of a fictional nature (ie my excerpts from The Story of the Four) or posts that focus on mythology, religious/spiritual, and cultural issues?

B) What value do you see in my posts (in other words, why did you follow my blog and/or read my posts)?

C) If you are a blogger, or have a personal website, what is the focus of your blog/website (photography, writing, religious, personal stories, etc)?

Of course any other feedback you wish to include is welcome.

Thank you for your time and consideration in these matters.

  1. A) There seems to be a cohesive crimson thread throughout all of your posts, each written purposefully. Through both your musings and the Story of the Four related ones you’ve got a clear concept in your blogging.

    B) It is fascinating to see so much from so many different cultures gathered and analysed in one place. It puts things in perspective. That putting in perspective is also interesting as you provide an insight in e.g. Norse Mythology whilst not being Norse yourself (culturally) that’s very enlightening. It’s difficult to see oneself without, or even with, a mirror.

C)My own blog focuses mainly on personal writing, be it poems or rants produced well beyond the sleep depraved point of midnight. Sometimes there’s a bit more in terms of ‘serious’ content as well though, haha.

  2. If Carlos Castaneda, Terence McKenna, P.D. Ouspensky, Michel De Montaigne, Allen Ginsberg, Charles Bukowski, Joe Coleman, Louis-Ferdinand Celine, Nietzsche, Thomas Lynch, Neil Young, Sitting Bull, Geronimo, The Alphabet Man, Vlad the Impaler, Timothy Leary, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Bill Hicks, Shannon Hoon, Lady Cottington, E.M. Cioran, M.C. Escher, Joseph Campbell, Albert Camus and Groucho Marx were all thrown into a windowless room with chainsaws, swords, kitchen weaponry and quills, Joshua Bertetta’s “The Story of the Four” would surely be it’s enlightened, diabolical and truth-seeking spawn.
